The Cooking Technique Of Sous Vide Flat Iron Steak
Prep time
In this sous vide recipe, we have some quick steps in the prep time before the cooking time when we really cook the steak.
Firstly, heat a moderate amount of water in your water bath to your preferred temperature.
Toss a pinch of salt and pepper with several carrot stripes on the sous vide steak. Then sprinkle some drops of white vinegar and oil to burst out the flavor and soften the carrots. The taste of these ingredients will surely awaken all your senses!
Now, seal the steak before putting it into the warmed bath (or a pressure cooker/an instant pot). You had better seal the beef flat iron steak (or blade steak) in a devoted vacuum bag, which is more convenient.
You can sous vide steak at the time and temperature as you desire for at least 4 hours. After the first sous vide processing, if you like some medium rare flank steak for a fresh taste, keep the internal temperature at 129 F degrees for up to eight hours.
Remove the cooked sous vide steak from the bath and then the pouch. Pat it to dry and cut the piece of meat into two equal half.
You will want to make the cut of meat in the form of york strip. If you want your steak to have incredible tenderness, do not cut against the grain. The best way to cut steak is by using the top blade to cut along the connective tissue on your piece of meat.
Cooking time
Now we will start to cook flat iron.
Dust the meat with some flour and smear it with the egg white. Next, sprinkle it with a little chopped parsley, paprika, salt and pepper (ground black pepper) uniformly for intense flavors.
Store the mixture on a dry surface such as paper towels while you heat the skillet to 275 F degree. Use some vegetable oil to spray the steaks as well as the pan before you lay the meat in the pan.
It is time to cook steak! Fry each side of the meat until it turns to an eye-catchy brown. Take it out and coat it with a little butter for two minutes so that the steak will smell more comfortable.
At this time, fry the sliced mushrooms in your skillet until they become soften and have an appealing dark color.
Add a little wine to the skillet, add the demi-glace, and turn off the gas right after that.
Serving
Slice the sous vide steaks as thin as possible. It is easy because the steaks are now incredibly tender.
Prepare a few mushrooms on a hot plate around the hot steak, and sprinkle odorous soy sauce on the food.
Make an eye-catching crown with some cherry tomatoes that have been cut in half.
Now you can enjoy the result after drooling for quite a long time throughout the sous vide cooking process!
