You’re missing out if you’ve never had Salisbury steak. This Crockpot Salisbury Steak is a breeze to prepare. And it will undoubtedly become a family favorite!
Ingredients

- 1 pint sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 oz package brown gravy mix, dry
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 4 tablespoons water
Beef Patties
- 1 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/3 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In the bottom of your slow cooker, combine the mushrooms and onions.
- Form 4 patties out of the beef patty ingredients. Cook over medium-high heat (about 3 minutes per side).
- Layer beef patties on top of mushrooms. Except for the water and cornstarch, combine the remaining ingredients. Cook for 5 hours on low heat with the beef.
- When the patties are done, remove them from the pan and set them aside. Set the slow cooker to high. Combine cold water and cornstarch in a mixing bowl. Stir into the broth and cook for a few minutes, or until it thickens. Return the beef to the sauce to coat.
- Over mashed potatoes, serve.
